1.

The Oxygen Mask: You.First.

Return to the breath.

Awareness on the breath. You are the silent witness as your thoughts pass.

Journaling Question:

What are 3 ways I can put on the oxygen mask this month?

How do I feel when I do not practice self-care?

What are some things that could improve in my life if I were increasingly more mindful of my self-care?

3.

Play.

Access your inner playfulness.

Take one step in the direction of play.

Even if it's 60 seconds?

Every. Single. Day. Play.

Journaling Question:

What were ways I liked to play when I was younger?

How might I add more silliness and laughter to my life?

Do I take time to be silly & lighthearted?

5.

Step Gently and Authentically.

Identify just one of your short term goals.

What is the first step, right now?

What will be the 2nd step?

What do you need to believe about yourself and life in order to take those steps?

Remind yourself. Breathe.

7.

Commit.  With Flexibility.

Commit to Your Higher Self.

Commit to your vision.

Allow your vision, life, and self-compassion to be curious, and self-reflective, rather than rigid & judgmental.

Allow for flexibility.

Return to the breath, and you've turned toward yourself.

Again, and again.

Where does resistant energy show up in my body?

Where does allowing, flexible, and curious energy show up in my body?

2.

Progressive. Relaxation.

Relax one by one, from head to toe.

Remove your tongue from the roof of your mouth.

Breathe into the space within your heart, and mind.

Create the space and time you need.

Journaling Question:

What can you give up that would give you more time and internal space?

(Screen Time?)

4.

Envision.

Speaking from your internal self, rather than the external self:

If there were no limitations, how do you envision a life that makes you feel alive?  Thriving?  Joyful?

Write down specifics.

If I were to override some of the obstacles, what might I need to believe about life in order to do so?

6.

Fall Down. Get curious. Get back up. Look around. Breathe.

Know that overwhelm/stress will come again. The secret is knowing. So when you find you're holding your breath... You breathe again.

Then, you take a Mindful step in the direction you want to go.

Breathe. Step. Fall. Breathe. Step.

Remind yourself of a time that you got back up again.

Rinse and Repeat.
